Ta's Abschied

Found in the possible (?) resting place of the architect Amos Foster, this glove confers a brief magical armor to a magic-user when the proper gesture is executed. Lasting 30 minutes, this shimmering force of plate mail strength prevents any further spell use by its wearer for the duration. Its name, discovered in some descriptions of the travels of the Des Esseintes brothers, seems to translate primarily as "goodbye" - meaning the escape a wizard might seek once his or her spells are used. It is unknown whether there was an actual 'Ta' or if this is another play on a word for farewell.

Rumors stage the presence of the glove's twin, hitherto unnamed, that would provide a shimmering sword for combat.
