New Averoigne
Ruling House: Marais
Originally a populous, bucolic province, New Averoigne suffered terribly in the final stages of the civil war as the d'Ambreville family unleashed terrible magics upon the forces marshaled against them. The scars on the land have mostly healed and peace has been restored around the remaining towns, but sorcery-spawned creatures still lurk on the fringes, in the encircling hills and forests. And the ruins of wizard manors still stand on many a promontory here, luring adventurers to riches and doom.
