Low Waterside

The Low Waterside, also known as les Bas, is a swampy district on the margins of Glantri City, past the river and opposite the canals and islets. It is home to some fortifications on its fringes, but in the main is the decrepit scene of life for Glantri's lowlier citizens.

It's denizens include Mulhedin the Tumescent, a trader from the near colonies of Shazalmar, so named for the prolific warts that blossom along his swarthy visage. Prominent features include the ramshackle Bridge of Rats, an un-sturdy mockery of Glantri's grand spans over the Loir and Vesubien.
