Background:
Goldfinch's background is murky, though he has alluded to being born "on the open plains" and has mentioned that he has been twice married, once to a human woman from whom he apparently learned the High Glantrian tongue (but that said marriage was over 50 years ago). He is apparently quite old.

The elf's demeanor is generally cheerful, if somewhat flighty. He tends to talk too much.

Goldfinch has the rough, deeply tanned skin and bleached hair of someone who spends too much time in the sun, and wears a malodorous hat fashioned from the upper part of a buffalo's skull, complete with horns.

Goldfinch severed his association with the Company of Crossed Swords after a heated disagreement over Martin Le Black's attempt to re-enslave a group of escaped house goblins, during which the Warrior-Seer and the Hero nearly came to blows. The elf left his enchanted spear, Passager, in the care of Hop-Frog Berbatov and has not been seen since.
