Glass Sword

One of several weapons manufactured by a Marais ancestor while trying to perfect a method to make glass stronger than steel. The glittering, transparent blade is as hard as iron and magically sharp, providing a +1 bonus on 'to hit' and damage rolls. But it lacks the resilience of a good steel sword; while it carves leather, flesh and bone easily enough, if used against metal arms and armor (or other extremely hard targets, like an animated stone statue), there is a small chance that it will shatter.
