Perched atop a stony ridge in the mountains of Touraine north of the Red River, Gantelet is both an imposing citadel and the seat of the hexarchy. Its walls and towers overlook two well-defended approaches: A narrow ritual staircase up the ridge, and a switchback trail down to the river overlooked by the citadel's cavalry gate. The fortress at Gantelet is one of the last lines of Glantri's defense against southern attacks.
