I am well-pleased, and I'm glad we got back to the dungeon. Doug, it was great to meet you and I hope you had fun with us talking all over the place and doing, ah, less than entirely heroic tactics.

Thanks for letting me play last night. I had fun. That, I think, is the first time I've played D&D as a character rather than a DM and the first time I've played in any capacity since I was about 15. So, I've got a bit of a learning curve to go yet.
Thanks again.
James survives! We'll have to do somehting about that.
Idiot, you did great!
Thanks for giving us a spin!
Hi Doug, I think your move of trying to spare the goblin, and then getting him to talk despite his whiny little sobs, ended up being a huge advantage: at least we didn't have to fight all them on the second run. I know you faced some resistance there, most of it in-character, but it was a good move and a good bit of drama.
Now if I can get my mother to find and ship this over to me I'll be very happy at the next session…

Hi! I'm glad that you guys were able to make it out last night; I had a great time. Perhaps on your next visit you'll find those wealthy, defenseless babies you've been searching for! :-)
Doug, thanks for coming! I wouldn't worry about the learning curve; you did fine, and as James points out, you contributed a lot to the game. I hope you come back for future sessions.
(Speaking of which, guys, those future sessions won't schedule themselves. Hint hint…)
Also, you know plenty about the game to play it. I usually try to strong-arm lawful characters with my "aren't all adventurers here to murder" speech but that's not about anything specific in the game, really. It's about me being crazy as all get out.
