Session 42

It seems that we are to meet this coming Saturday to possibly storm Ashur Ram's tower. It seems that we will also have only five hours to do so.

If we can somehow agree to table our carousing, which often ends up being an hour+ procedure, and can set forth any concrete plans we want to make before we ever sit down, we'll be in good shape for plenty good old fashioned bloodshed.

Tavis, would you be willing to handle a round of carousals for any who attend in the week or so following the session instead of doing them before the session?

It appears at the moment that we will have only 5 players (& 1 DM) this Saturday. I say this based on the chart on the scheduling table and by what people have written in the forums, etc. Since we might do well to have a larger contingent to go up against Ashur Ram directly, might I suggest that we go back to the cylinder that Tobias & Ookla began exploring previously?

I think that's a good idea. However, it looks like Eric's Caswin or Lucky will be there, too, as well as probably Christine's 3rd level Ploosk. At what point (how many party members) would just peeking into the tower be a viable idea? I don't think Ashur Ram will be right there when we put the final metal piece into the door, so I don't think we'd need all the party's big guns right then and there. Most likely, this Tower of Glaroon has some kind of portal which leads to the floating big guy in the sky.

Since EN Lightenment has been absent the last few adventures, he has no idea what the current status is. He will defer to whatever you guys think is best, based on your having done the reconnaissance.

It's sounding more like we may have enough of a crew to go into the towers. Chris (Chrystos) has told me off-line that he plans on showing up as well on Saturday. So we may want to play this one by ear whether we should go into the tower or into the "cylinder." Either way, we should be prepared to make that decision quickly when we get to the table.
