I may not update my XP totals every time, but I draw them once in a while.

So, taking inspiration from my friend Ryan who is doing the illustrations for ACKS and of course the talented locals such as skatay, Sternum and Bodacious. I decided to practice up on my illustration skills and draw a image of Bob (Robert Hazart after recent events).

Several matter have become clear:

• I need more practice.
• There is a breakpoint between realistic and comic faces and it is best to pick a horse early on.
• Hands and feet are hard without reference.
• Everything else is hard without reference as well.
• I don't know how to dress my people. I can draw it if I knew what they where wearing.
• I am taking faith in doing pencil as best as possible and then letting any potential inks find their way later.

No feedback needed, but I am always up for XP.

Very cool! The spikestaff is a terrifying implement! I also like his hatpin :D

One of these days I'm going to get a scanner and update some line drawings.

Looks great! I really like the hat. I too wish I had better skills with hands, clothes, feet, ankles, earlobes, etc..

I will model for you if you provide the metal cube o' illusions that is the one thing we know Robert is wearing (although the fact that he's wearing it under something certainly implies that he also has pants or a loincloth or whatever).
