Whitebox Deities

I'm trying to flesh out my new character, the Neutral Dwarven Cleric, Darwin of Drumthwacket. I looked at the Whitebox deities page, and I realized I didn't recognize any of the deities listed. I know things are moving fast in this age of creation, so I wanted to make sure I was on the right page. My questions are thus:

- Do we know which deities are currently being worshipped in the Whitebox campaign world?
- If so, do we know if any of them would be appropriate for a Neutral Dwarven Cleric?
- If not, am I better off picking something from an existing list (ie, Wikipedia list of D&D deities), or just making something up?

I believe the traditional method is to make up whatever deity you like — or pull one from real world mythology or a favorite book — and present it to Tavis as a fait accompli.

The deities listed in the character creation pages are ones that have prominent temples in the City-State of the World Emperor. We've never been there, no one cares about them, and I only have the map for CSotWE, so feel free to run with them but don't feel compelled to do so.

Prominent deities in the campaign so far are:
- the Dark One, Thanatos, worshipped by the decadent Thracians and some of their hill-tribe descendants. Chaotic or neutral.
- the First Principles, an abstract code deified by Patriarch Zekon, the Verdant Paladin, his colleague Mareth and his squire, and a bunch of valykries and sword-saints. Lawful.
- the Killing Frost. Chaotic.
- Other members of the Thracian pantheon, including Apollo (worshipped by Caswyn) and Hera (from whose temple's Spring of Life the vicarage vine's roots drink).
- the Sky-father, worshipped by a temple in Hruhrudingfallor, his new convert Emurak, and various Skyfeather barbarians. Recently communicated with John Fighter through a vibrating holy-water fount. Lawful.
- Lono, Goddess of Pleasure. Worshipped in the Nameless City. Chaotic?

There have been some other PC clerics of different deities, who I hope folks will help me remember.

Other clerics in the campaign so far have worshiped Apollo, god of light (Caswyn) and a mysterious god of life-force opposed to ancient evils (Into).

Apollo provides light-related and improved turn vs. undead benefits for Caswyn; Into had great resistance to the touch abilities of the undead (like paralysis, disease, level drain, etc.).

23, the robot cleric, is a Servant of The Server, a massive computer god located many miles beneath the earth where it has survived the apocalypses of many previous ages of creation. The Server is Neutral.

Thanks everyone for the input. I've decided to create a deity. (How often do you get to say that?)

Darwin of Drumthwacket believes in the Dwarven god Bard Hargain. Bard Hargain is the Dwarven god of earth, nature, and balance. His followers work to preserve the earth and keep balance upon it.
