I've got an account, but don't see any invitations (yet). There's no dice roller and no mapper thingy yet, though I imagine it's coming. When I get some invites I'll spread them around.
Having played with OpenRPG (a "virtual tabletop") for about three years, it's entirely possible to play this way but it's very strange compared to regular table-top gaming. The map function, for example, is pretty much worthless and I can't imagine Wave or 3rd party developers solving that problem. There's also the issue of "talking over" other people and maintaining conversational focus. I suspect that Wave will be a significant improvement over OpenRPG in terms of ease-of-use, but for most users will be an unsatisfying tool for table-top mini's-based RPG's such as D&D unless you don't have an in-person group.
I found that using Skype is actually pretty good: being able to talk out loud in real time, and using IM's for private messages or whatever, is pretty good for RPG's that don't require mapping (i.e., most of them). It's not quite as good as playing in person, but it's less hassle.
