I'm going to run a Call of Cthulhu game tomorrow evening at Thanksnerding in Brooklyn. It is not on the NerdNYC schedule because I missed the deadline, so it will run as a pickup game.

If anyone is interesting in trying Cthulhu, I have chosen an entry level scenario and will bring pre-gen characters. This is a layback event and a really great environment in which to game.

There are two gaming slots. The first is in the afternoon from 12-4; that's when James will be running Mouseguard! The second is from 7-10:30, which is when I will unleash the horror of the Mythos. Hopefully we'll start the evening slot earlier than 7 - ideally 6/6:30. Here are details like directions and game schedules:

I met Greengoat at Recess about a year ago. We played Cthulhu Invictus. I enjoyed it exceedingly. This will be my first time at the front of the table in this type of situation. Friendly faces would be comforting and enjoyable. Hope to see you there.

I'll be there with my seven-year-old, so we can provide moral support but thinking of a kid-friendly CoC game = 1d12 SAN loss.

I feel I need to make a formal apology to littleidiot.

It was not until James and Cindy said goodbye to me at Thanksnerding that I put two and two together and realized I had scheduled my game in direct conflict with your DJ gig.

I am very sorry for promoting something in conflict and feel like a total moron for not realizing that earlier. Please excuse this oversight. It seemed like lots of folks from this group went, and I hope everyone had a great time.

Sorry too that I enabled seven-year-olds to cavort near your table while you were trying to create an atmosphere of dread and foreboding, mhurst. Next time I will dress them as Deep Ones so they're less disruptive.

No need to apologise. I can't expect everyone to tip-toe around Cosmonaut's schedule. My only problem with the clash was that I didn't get to play Call Of Cthulhu which is on my list.
