The Glantri Holiday Reunion Special

Greetings, one and all!

It's been a decade since the Glantri campaign faded away. That seems like exactly the right time to bring it back! So we're looking to set up a one-weekend reunion special in a few months.

The plan is to treat it like a mini-convention with four gaming slots: Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon. No one is expected to attend every slot, but as long as even a single player turns up for a slot, I'll run a game!

As we always tied the passage of time in Glantri to real time, this means that a decade has passed in the campaign setting. We'll get to figure out what's happened to everyone's characters in the meantime. Random tables may be involved!

Red Box New York has always had an open-table policy, so feel free to bring new players! Everyone is welcome.

Please post your availability below. If you're not sure what your availability looks like for any given weekend, that's fine! Just use a question mark (❓) for the moment, and fill it in with a yes or no once you have more information.

I'm hoping to see lots of familiar faces. I look forward to seeing you!

Wow! This is amazing. I think fondly of Glantri each time I see a mule.

I moved to rural Sweden awhile back and am not sure if I'll be in NYC anytime in the next few months. I would love to attend, but there are just too many lingon berries to pick. I'll see if I can figure something out!

Ok, I've updated. My methodology here was any weekend where it looked like I had a full day unavailable, I listed as ❌. I have some weekends where I might be engaged for Saturday night or something like that, but I just figured that would cause me to miss a potential session, rather than the lion's share of a full day. The ❓ was where I thought it would be possible/likely that I'd be missing a full day.

Oh, hey. Hi guys, it's Paul. (My username used to be "blizack".) I'm still around. I left NYC, became a librarian, got divorced, got remarried (to the same person), and recently bought a house outside Atlanta. I still play RPGs. I have fond memories of the Red Box campaign, and visiting NYC isn't impossible. I think I might be taking another trip in the next couple of months, but let get back to you on that. (I can't edit the table.)

Great to see this coming together Quen, I love this idea! Also very nice to see some friendly usernames in the chat (hi Josh and Paul!).

I need to tighten up my calendar a bit but will get some dates on the books shortly. I'm definitely in for at least a session or two depending on how much time I can block out :)

This is far enough in advance I'm probably free most weekends during the school year, but during finals/holidays/winter break there's a good chance I'll either be swamped or out of town. Mark me as good for everything outside of December 13-Jan 26th.
