I put this up at the Landlords and Labyrinths site, but for those of you who don't patrol there …
I've also spammed a mess of nonredbox gamer friends so we might actually muster a table on short notice
Hey all!
I'm off work this week and I wanted to do some gaming, so I'm trying organize a session of D&D 4E at Cafe 28. You're invited!
The thread is here:

I'm pretty sure anyone can post there, but just write me if you're having trouble.
Never played? No problem, it's actually very easy to pick up. You don't need a copy of the rules. Unfortunately, making a new character at the table is a LOT more involved than in OD&D. So if you haven't made a character, you could tell me in advance what type of dude you want and I could make them, or you could pick a generic pregen to customize when you get there.
I'm just shooting for a fun pickup session of rock'em sock'em 4E action (a Delve, if you know what that is), but I'd like to be running pretty regularly soonish, so I've got a couple of character making guidelines to fit the setting:
a) make a mostly good guy — someone not entirely wealth/wickedness motivated
b) use any race or class (even player's handbook 2) EXCEPT no humans — humans don't exist in this setting … yet … or anymore … no one's sure ….
Hope you can make it!
