						 <p>I came up with the concept for the <a href="http://redbox.wikidot.com/starspanner">Starspanner</a>, but it is a hoot to see Blue Lightning put the guy to work. I'm really curious to know the deal with him (Starspanner, not BL). He's the one who basically coordianted the rescue of the burning building in <a class="newpage" href="http://redbox.wikidot.com/super-saturday-session-list">&quot;Burning Fever&quot;</a>, and put up with a lot of frustration from Chrononaut for his pains.</p> <p>Right now the Starspanner seems to be in an information-gathering sort of mode, checking stuff out. What happens when he eventually comes to judgment?</p> <p>Note that the Starspanner has the power of <em>Mechanical Intuition</em>, which lets him understand how to build almost anything imaginable. Under both the Basic and Advanced rules, there's a bottleneck in terms of <em>paying</em> for the invention, and as an alien on Earth the Starspanner doesn't have a lot of cash, but he has connections to <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">Rich Uncle Moneybags</span> an interstellar commercial guild, so that's something.</p>
