Actually, I'm going to be out of commission gaming wise for a little bit. Hopefully it's only going to be a couple of weeks or so. I don't want to keep you in suspense forever.

(Presumably one of the earliest things in the day was the arrival of the latest Avengers Support Team member, the powerful, popular and wealthy new heroine known as Goo, but I don't recall the precise timing of her appearance.)

Everyone got to bed Thursday night, first thing Friday a call from the hospital reveals Frankie's latest words while tossing and turning all night were "Split building". Another call from the Precinct asks the Avengers to come by at 6:30. With Goo's presence, Wasp decides to let Spider-Man stay home and sleep in.

At the Precinct the police report they found the bombs right were the Avengers' research told them to look. Or rather the bomb-sniffing dogs did, as the police couldn't see what they were barking at for quite a while until suddenly the devices were right there in front of them. This was only in the Phawld Center, so Disruptor suggests the bomb squad check all nearby roofs and supports.

7am
The group checks back in with the company that designed the Phawld Center, Clive and Barnes, to let them know their suggestions of where to look were accurate. The architects mention shoddy sub-contractors that are responsible for the issues currently under investigation. Disruptor gets the name and address of the main contractor: Farnsworth, and they head over to his office.

7:30
Ringing the bell at the building the Wasp notices a familiar name on another bell in the same building, but on a residential floor: F Harlan, which could well be Frank Harlan, alias Frankie the Snitch, as the back of the building is on the alley where he was attacked. They note the apartment number to check it out on the way down.

Mr. Farnsworth gives them the name, address and number of Diamond Contractors along with principles Robert Lang and Robert Michaels, but opines that they're probably skipped town by now and they haven't returned any calls in a while.

Stopping by the F. Harlan apartment, there's no answer at the door so Wasp shrinks down and crawls under the door, then lets the others in. They find Frankie's little black book in a plastic bag inside the toilet tank. Reading the latest entries they find mention of a major jewel heist scheduled for today- Friday. They take the book intending to drop it off at the Precinct.

9am
Sounds coming in Frankie's window indicate a major disturbance nearby, an agitated crowd and sounds of energy blasts of some kind. The Avengers leave via the window and head toward the crowd, finding them watching a fight between two known supervillains fighting in an alley: Living Laser and Swordsman. While the group breaks up the fight, subdues and apprehends the villains, it seems for naught as they vanish in a flash of light upon being turned over to the police. Wasp checks in with Jarvis, asking him to look them up in the database and finds both are listed as deceased.

I might also be ready to try running a game if anyone's up for it, let me know. Also let me know if you have time for that in addition to Thursday, or starting after Foner's current arc if one day a week is all we can currently manage.
