My work is somewhat D&Dish, and there's another exhibit of work in the gallery's side room that is also somewhat D&Dish, though I don't know if the other artist is/was a gamer or not. If you're around and want to see some art on Friday night, the reception will be from 6-9pm. I'd love to see you there (and I'm flying in from Qatar to be there)!

Really though, there is a strong element of old school Doctor Who to the game's assumptions- where the PCs are the only consistent thing, and the rules of the universe keep changing from week to week. A mechanic like the Tardis or the Map from Time Bandits can exist to explaining how the party keeps changing setting- but nothing is proscribed in the rules- just implied that it is up to the GM to come up with. Really Moldvay seems the be giving more of a toolbox of his house rules for reality hopping games.

As the PCs level up, in addition to the powers they select, they also gain a specific ability at each level. Which with the exception of improved healing, the rules explicitly state exist so the GM's benefit so he can give plot hooks.

I good idea of what I am going to do for the game- and we'll roll up characters at the table. So what time on the 9th should we meet? also, Should we do Cafe 28, or Bread & Butter?
