Earl of Salisbury, son of Roderick. Vassal of King Arthur, liege lord to several Salisburian knights including Sir Pellandres, Sir Emerause, Sir Hervis, and Sir Carabad.

Earl Robert participated in the Battle of Badon Hill, and was married the following year to Lady Ellen of Uffingham, despite the bumbling intrusion of Sir Carabad into their courtship.
