Darkbane

Darkbane is one of the Lightblades, legendary swords sacred to the gods of Law. Darkbane's martial enchantment is more powerful against demons, more powerful still against undead, and most powerful against creatures of "pure darkness". Darkbane shines with an extremely bright light (60' radius); the first time Darkbane is unsheathed each day this light has a powerful effect on nearby "dark creatures".

Until recently, Darkbane resided in the sanctuary of Law beneath the Chateau d'Ambreville, where it was guarded by Theril the Guide.
