Background:
A balding, middle-aged, kinda dumpy-looking Magic-User operating under the somewhat more august stage name of "Zolobachai of the Nine Visions." "Zolobachai" specializes in spurious divinations and quack healing potions. Though he makes his living cheating people, he's actually a good-hearted softie.
Arnold was trained by Tim Moon-Slider. In the days before joining the Grey Company in their explorations of the Caverns of Thracia, Arnold tangled with the merciless (and humorless) Count Kragan, barely escaping with his life.
While exploring the Caverns, Arnold proved his courage and cleverness repeatedly - indeed, almost compulsively. Notably, Arnold briefly impersonated the Ninth Menegril, an inter-dimensional merchant-prince. He has also crossed the boundary between dimensions to join the Company of Crossed Swords.
Arnold died while exploring the Pharaoh's Tomb, but has since been raised. He has sworn to rescue his companion Maldoor Twice-Shy.
